Currently my background, and one of my favorite films, especially car films. What's yours?

Blue Brothers, which coincidentally is also my favorite musical.

I don’t know if Drive is necessarily a “car” movie, but if it is, then it’s my choice. Le Mans and the original Mad Max are honorable mentions.

The man is a stunt driver and the movie saved a Impala SS from Craigslist. Ryan gosling barely talked. It had one of the greatest chase scenes ever.

Le Mans. The plot line is the race. The cars are the stars.
Drive doesn’t do anything for me. Not a bad flick, just don’t get the admiration, especially as a car film.

Dazed and Confused.
Yeah I know it’s not a car movie but the scenery is great.

I really like
Bullitt
, but I consider the movie
Wrong
to be a car-related movie, considering how one of the most memorable scenes revolved around a Monte Carlo yellow Saab 900 in the middle of nowhere.
Rubber
is another by the same director that’s about a tire, which is kinda like a car movie. Also weird and good.

Rubber reminded me of a movie of an autonomous Peterbilt that that looked like an evil clown.

Just coming here to nominate it. The scene where the Daytona and Cobra race through the night with no sound other than the engines is a work of art.

Spielberg’s first film. Duel.
It is one of the most exciting, tense, anxiety inducing films I have ever seen. I was on the edge of my seat during the whole film.
Also, Mad Max. Old and new.

Yup. Or the scene where the cops are trying to chase the Ferrari in the helicopter... “Sorry, sir. He must be...going...over a hundred and forty!”

The Wraith. Just because Dodge PPT Turbo Interceptor and the Pontiac Firebird.
And the Fast & The Furious series. Because its the only thing movie wise we have as car fans.
